Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre

This is not the first time I post the photos from aquarium located in Sidney. The most notable was the one where I've got some rare shots of the Giant Pacific Octopus. My latest visit yielded a new crop of the shots with this fascinating creature, this one named Hermione (octopus lives in the SODC for about 6 months, then it's being released back in the wild and replaced). Let's start with some other shots though:

OK... moving to the main dish now. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Hermione The Octopus. Giant, Pacific and all that. I normally am trying to limit myself to as few shots of a single subject as possible (not always successfully as you know from my Snow in Butchart series!), but this is special case. It's difficult to catch an octopus actively moving around, and it's not really an easy subject from the technical point of view. Low light, thick glass, reflections, people around... Every successful shot becomes precious, and it's hard to choose. So, how about this: I narrowed it down to 14, feel free to pick as many favorites as you please.
