Minter Gardens

One would think that after seeing Butchart Gardens (about 15 times a year, for many years), one is going to be hard to impress. Well, one would be wrong. Minter Gardens, while very different, is very impressive. Judge for yourself though.

This one is not Gardens yet, just a foreword so to speak. Familiar sight for anyone who lives in USA NW, also known as Canadian Tropics.

On to the Gardens.

Mountain setting adds drama to many views.

Little bridges and waterfalls everywhere

Cozy passages with arcs and pergolas

One of the most fascinating features, water wall. I made about 30 shots before thinking "OK, I need to photograph this."
