For a while this guy (girl?) was greeting me on each of my walks along the Sidney waterfront, with this question "where is your camera?" in his (her?) eyes. Then I came with my camera couple times, only to get stood up. Yesterday we finally met. I shot, he (she?) posed. Both were happy.
This part of RealityTrader site is my rest area. Favorite way to waste time with no purpose - in other words, hobby and fun. Some of the photos I like and want to share, some shooting techniques, some photo gear matters - that's what this site is about. I shoot with Olympus gear, currently E-M1. Favorite lenses are 12-40 f/2.8, 50 F2 macro, 50-200 f/2.8-3.5 and 7-14 f/4.

Tribute to Blue Bridge
Since this iconic bridge is to be replaced in a few years, thought I'd do a small series showcasing it, before the work starts.
I think I'm going to miss it. Not that anyone's asking.

Butterfly Gardens - more than just butterflies
What do you expect to find when coming to a place calling itself, say a car dealership? Why, cars of course, silly. And if a place is called Butterfly Gardens? Why, butterfl... not so fast!
Quite diversified this place is - judge for yourself.
"You may think I am shy, but I just don't care that you are looking - gotta clean those feathers."
Looking right back at ya!
Believe it or not, this bird is feeding the fish.
"What's this in your hands? A camera? I dunno... just in case, don't point that thing at me, will ya?"
Curious Turaco
Poisonous dart frogs (no worry, they are behind the glass and still mastering the art of injecting their poison by merely looking at you)
"The name's Leo. Just Leo. If you don't know me, that's alone is a reason to visit the Gardens."
Canna Lily
Atlas Moth - years in cocoon, days outside. Short but beautiful life.
Little birdie
OK, one butterfly... after all the place IS called...
... a Butterfly Gardens - place where adults walk with silly childish smile on their face.
